I met 6 C7s last night between Tecumseh Mi & Brooklyn Mi about 7: 15 I waved at them & they didnt wave back I was driving a 1964 silver Vette & maybee they didnt know I was driving a Vette or didnt know they were supposed to wave back
Really? I get the wave all the time from other c7's but not so much from earlier vette drivers. Kind of cool after coming from a common bmw 335i. The best is when their top is off and you get the two arms fully extended out of the car huge wave by the passenger and driver. Be careful out there... but to the couple in the red c7 in Chicago, that was awesome.

Same thing went on when the C6 came out. I waved at a C6 today. The lady driving it looked at me as if I was giving her the finger. And I swear I used all my fingers.
Some of the c-7 owners don't know what a mid year or older Vette looks like. Probably didn't even know it was a Vette. Or maybe they could't see that far.

Hummm ... last week I waved from my C6 at a C5 with the targa top off as we passed each other doing about 15mph through the center of downtown. Not only was there no return wave, but also he looked back at me with startled dismay, like I had extended a dead jellyfish or something. Maybe I should get a haircut?

Just to be sure how exactly is the correct way the wave should be done?
My C7 is my first Vette. Was giving a friend a ride a few weeks ago and I'm half paying attention to what is coming the opposite way and he suddenly he is giving me crap 'cause a C6 just passed us and waved and I didn't respond. Shame on me I have been schooled!
Took me a few times to figure it out when I got my first vette (my C5)
So now I wave in any of them C3, C5 or C7
But I don't wave to C4s cause they're ugly... Just Kidding
Don't see too many vettes in my area to wave at. Now if it was a german or italian car, i'd be tiring my arm out waving all day (plus everyone would look at me weird )
On the way to work today, I had a lovely Woman driving a Red C6 pull up next to me in Traffic.
She rolled down the passenger window to tell me how much she liked my Car and that she thought the Personalized License Plate was pretty cool.
I usually give a wave to other Vette Drivers and sometimes I flash the lights if there is one sitting across from me at an Intersection waiting for the Light.
It's either a Club or a Cult. Haven't figured that out yet. LOL
