Default C7 coolant temperatures?

Curious if the C7 coolant temperatures run lower all the time compared to the C6.
My C6 runs right around 195 when moving along, either highway or back roads at 40-50 MPH or above.
In stop and go traffic it'll hit 210, maybe 220 depending on how long before getting rolling again.
Does the C7 stay within a smaller/lower range of temperatures under these varying conditions?

Mine stays at 220 all the time.

Update: Digital readout runs 204-208

If you're going by the analog gauge, you're misreading it. The digital display is more precise

Mine hovers around 204 - 206 most of the time and under "normal" driving conditions. I have an M7 Z51 (HD cooling system dontcha know)

In really hot weather (100+), mine has never gone above 212 under usual driving conditions.

Refer to Owners manual 5-9/5-10

Page your display to Performance, first display will show a Corvette in the center with all digital readings to the right.

The 220 everyone is reading is really 200, the actual 220 mark is directly to the right of the 220 lettering.

Thanks! See Oil and Trans Temp ( both of which I have displayed in my two analog gauge options) but not Engine Coolant Temp. Will try.

It's not a real gauge. It hits 220 as the car passes 180 degrees warming up. Most "gauges" these days are smoothed like this. Use the digital output if you want accuracy..

Yup, the only guage to use. I had the car over 2 mos. before I even knew it existed. Like many others I relied on the analog guage (nothing more than an idiot light) which reads 220 no matter what the conditions or what you do. My cruising coolant temps are around 208 in 95-100 deg TX heat.

I can't even fathom why this car has a dummy temperature gauge. Even the Impala rental car I drove recently had a real gauge. Who's dumb idea on the Corvette team was this?

Mine stays at 204-206 degrees (on the digital) in all normal driving regardless of outside temp. It even held that temp on the racetrack (Auto Club Speedway Roval, Fontana, CA) in 100 degree temps. The temp only went higher (about 225 degrees) when I tried running the AC on max cool in the last session.

Yup, the analog speedo, fuel, and water temp gages just waste space they could have used for more configurable screen. I made the same comment at a car interior evaluation event I was paid to attend. Even my lowly Spark EV has a 100% configurable display screen digital dash.
