Curious if the C7 coolant temperatures run lower all the time compared to the C6.
My C6 runs right around 195 when moving along, either highway or back roads at 40-50 MPH or above.
In stop and go traffic it'll hit 210, maybe 220 depending on how long before getting rolling again.
Does the C7 stay within a smaller/lower range of temperatures under these varying conditions?

a/c on driving at diff speeds, 208 -210 and heat about 112+ where i'm at now but the a/c cooling fan may be keeping it down a bit .
It's not a real gauge. It hits 220 as the car passes 180 degrees warming up. Most "gauges" these days are smoothed like this. Use the digital output if you want accuracy..

Yup, the only guage to use. I had the car over 2 mos. before I even knew it existed. Like many others I relied on the analog guage (nothing more than an idiot light) which reads 220 no matter what the conditions or what you do. My cruising coolant temps are around 208 in 95-100 deg TX heat.
What are the 3 buttons on the right? Thought the digital gauge beng refered to was on the front display! Looks like one added getting info from the OBD2 plug??

I can't even fathom why this car has a dummy temperature gauge. Even the Impala rental car I drove recently had a real gauge. Who's dumb idea on the Corvette team was this?

Mine stays at 204-206 degrees (on the digital) in all normal driving regardless of outside temp. It even held that temp on the racetrack (Auto Club Speedway Roval, Fontana, CA) in 100 degree temps. The temp only went higher (about 225 degrees) when I tried running the AC on max cool in the last session.

Yup, the analog speedo, fuel, and water temp gages just waste space they could have used for more configurable screen. I made the same comment at a car interior evaluation event I was paid to attend. Even my lowly Spark EV has a 100% configurable display screen digital dash.
