Default Last Vette

Statistically because of my age, 74, this is probably my last Vette and beyond a doubt it's the best ever. I recieved my Black 2LT Vert..Kalahari interior last Thursday and have 300 miles on it so far. I requested that my car undergo additional quality audits and it be driven to verify the audit results hence it was delivered with 38 miles on it. The car is absolutely perfect... the fit is perfect... and like every one else I was concerned about orange peel. I must say that this car has a much better finish than my C-6. I am very pleased with the finish on this car...not perfect but much improved. The car itself is a major improvement in every aspect..it's just a beautiful car and amazing to drive.

Sounds great! Who performed the audit, the factory or dealer?

Your goal should be to get classic car plates for your car which would make you 99. I will get my C7 this spring at the age of 66 and it will be my last vette and I hope to be able to get QQ plates for it.

Hey....it could happen but just so happy with this C-7. It's amazing...I was 13 years old in 1953 when the car was introduced and I was hooked for life..... at age 14 I knew a kid who saw one....and at age 15 I saw my first Vette and watch in amazement as each generation pushed the car to the world class sports car it is today. Life is good!!!!!!

I'm 73 and haven't given up hope that there is a C8 in my future. But if not, so be it. At least right now I have one of the best Corvettes ever built and I can be happy with that.

Many years ago I was a car dealer in South Florida. I cannot begin to tell you how many customers in there upper sixties, seventies, and eighties, and tell me they were purchasing there last car.

Then 3 to 4 years later they were back again with the same story.
I will be seventy soon and when I told my wife that the 2015 Z51 I ordered will be my last car she laughed at me.

I hope you get as well as I to order a new C8 when they come out.

Enjoy your new car and think about your next C8.

Never say, this is probably my last car. In two years you will be only 76, the C7 should be perfected and 2017 should be the banner year.
