I just received my build sheet from my car that was built in January and noticed the Exterior Color is labeled: "GAN Switchblade". The window sticker says: "Blade Silver Metallic". Any thoughts on why the difference?
For several of the Corvette paint colors over the years there is the actual paint name and the marketing name.
For example,
Precision Red was actually a paint called Cobalt red.
Crystal Red Metallic is actually Crystal Claret.
LeMans Blue is actually Luxo Blue Metallic.
Blade Silver is actually Switchblade Silver Metallic.
Machine Silver is actually Light Tarnished Silver Metallic.
You have the right color and the right build sheet. The paint manufacturers call it one thing and the manufacturers market is as something else that better appeals to their customer.
