Question, does anyone have an idea from the time you track on the Chevy website when it says order placed to how long it takes to move it to the pre production status?

Totally depends on your dealer's allocations, your place in your dealers line and possible constraints. Anywhere from a couple weeks to NEVER.

If you went with Les Stanford, you will be fine. Allocations won't be an issue, but constraints will play a factor. What did you order?

My order was Torch Red z 51 with mag ride. Black Wheels , red Calipers, 2lt. seems simple enough but I do not know what is on constraint

Ok so this means it will be delayed i guess? How is the normal colored roof on a constraint, seems weird. That is all I got.

Don't know why the standard roof is on constraint. Supplier issue perhaps. The standard roof is still carbon fiber - it just doesn't have to be laid perfectly since it gets painted over. The visible carbon fiber roof was on constraint for almost the entire 2014 model year. Apparently making these roofs is more difficult than the supplier expected.

Les Stanford should get allocations that include these items. It depends on how many are in line if front of you that also have these items. I think you're in pretty good hands.
