That's the great mystery right now. Because it shows shipped has it really left the Bowling Green assembly plant? Is it loaded on a transporter? Does it show on paper it's been shipped but really it's sitting behind the plant with 1000 of it's brothers and sisters? Inquiring minds want to know....

As has been talked about (almost to the point of ad nauseum), the Chevy website is not very precise in that "En Route" (as well as the other 'dots') encompasses MANY different status codes.
So "En Route" could mean anything from the car is sitting in the parking lot behind the assembly plant to actually being on a truck/rail car headed to the dealer.
The only way to know for sure what the EXACT deal is with your car is to get the actual status number. Anything else is pure speculation

Back in March Mine showed shipped, but was really at the plant for another 5 days or so before it actually got on a truck. Reports here are that no '15's have actually shipped yet..
Shipped / En Route encompasses a number of status codes.
On the GM website, shipped means that GM has transferred possession of the vehicle to the shipping company. The shipping company can keep the car for up to 10 days to fill a truck headed for a geographic region.
Shipped means that GM has turned it over. While it can, it does not necessarily mean that it is actually loaded and moving.
Your dealer can tell you your status; just go there, take a seat at your salesperson desk, and in moments you can get the number. There are sources on this forum where you can also get your status if you are shy. The chevy tracker is worthless and (in my mind) a public relations nightmare.
Don't get too excited. According to the customer tracking site, my car is "Shipped/ En Route"; my actual event code, however, is 4B00 which means "Bayed". Though the Chevy site suggests otherwise, my car has not actually been shipped and I doubt that yours has either. Sorry.

My Car was #10 and still shows code 3800 I have been told serveral time NO 2015's have left the Back lot. still could be 2 more weeks.
There are at least 1000 cars in the back lot at the plant. The vast majority of these have the shipping covers already in place. Since the 2015 started rolling off the line about 7 working days ago it's safe to say that most likely none have shipped just yet. There was only one museum delivery today, a 2014, and I saw only one in the PDI area. I assume it's also a 2014.
