What Splash Guards You Using ???

I'm just now making a set to go IN FRONT of the rear tire! There is so much stuff coming from the front wheels because of the sculpted out rocker panels. My goal is to protect my new HRE wheels which took a lot of trash during a recent downpour, as well as road tar dots coming from up front. I think I have it licked....

I wonder if a set of front splash guards (clip sections cut off, etc) would fit the front of the rear wheel well. A right front splash guard would be installed the left rear wheel well, left front on a right rear wheel well. I do not have an extra set of fronts to try this so don't know if this is workable.
). You are right , it would have to be opposites....will let you know...would be a lot easier than what I tackled with the C5 material that is hard to cut.

What kind of prep did you do to OEM guards and where'd you get the paint? Sorry for the possibly dumb questions but I'm new to doing any mods.
