and there's a few variables to consider with the top off.
The warmer/hotter the weather the less turbulence because the air is thinner.
If it's warm out we have the top off, unless we plan on a lot of highway driving.
And if we do a bit of highway driving I find with the windows about 1/2 -3/4 of the way up, there's very minimal turbulence up to speeds of 70 or slightly more.
But get up to 80 and it becomes turbulent and naturally, more noise.
And I find with the windows all the way up, it creates a slight woop woop sound from the air being trapped in the hatch area.
One thing I don't like about having the top off with extented driving time on the highway is simply the traffic noise.
But that's the same just having the windows open regardless of the top being off or not
IMO, it's not that bad at all driving with the top off and really thought it would be much worse that it is when first bought the car.
If it's warm and Sunny, the top is off

If you have long hair, put it up in a pony tail. I keep a few extra bands in my purse.

Make sure any loose item that is light is secured as it will be gone ion a flash. Do not open the center consul if you have any paper items under speed as they will become part of the environment.

Thanks again everyone. We are really looking forward to taking delivery of our Laguna Blue 2015 Z51 A8 in the near future. I know to keep the windows down 3/4 of the way down and not to keep any important papers loose in the center console. Looking forward to seeing you guys and gals on the road soon. We will be leaving with the Florida Corvette Caravan from Sebring Wednesday morning in our 67 Coupe in route to Bowling Green for the 20th Anniversary of the Corvette Museum. Be safe and keep the shiny side up.
