I have a couple of pairs of Puma Future Cats. They are fairly cheap at $50-60 a pair on sale. They have very thin soles, angled toe areas and exaggerated heels making them great for driving.. and absolute perfectly for heel/toe and precise pedal input. Ironically I bought the Ferrari version of these shoes, before I bought my Vette. I still wear them while driving

I discovered that my dress Wingtips were the most comfortable on the throttle while driving. Some former famous stock car driver drove in his Wingtips too, back in the '60s and '70s.
