After studying the Borla installation instructions , i think it would not be to difficult to figure out. It would be nice to know the size of Borla mufflers compared to the stock ones as the diffuser mounts to the mufflers. It seems that Borla built in quite a bit of adjustment ability into the mounting of the diffuser. The key to making it work is mounting it to the stock mufflers.

Why does it seem to me for those tracking the cars that would create a HUGE amount of heat back there by blocking off the bottom side of the exhaust?

I know on the Challenge cars and ALMS car when we blocked all of that off for aero on those cars it creates a ton of heat and you start to have diff/trans cooling issues. And we didn't have any exhaust back there, they were always side exit.

Anthony, I was thinking the same on that piece also. True may look nice and all but that is a lot of material from side to side plus front to rear. Plus really close to the mufflers, also guy if you look at the vette on a HARD pull off the line that piece was jumping up & down like crazy. So if going to mod this piece you better take that in mind also are you will be hitting the stock piece of the car.

I wish those one piece that is bolted on with screws was just a little thicker & like the other guy side paint them black also..

That and this will probably be a few months off (at least) as I've got to get my Airstream finished up to a usable state and move forward on my Morgan some first, but it's still on my radar as something I want to do.

So, I'll say again... c'mon Borla, make this work with the factory setup and you'll have a buyer!
I also own a Morgan, what year and model do you have?

'66 +4, the image in my signature should act a link to the site for it. Resto-modding it to work over the drivetrain from a '06 Solstic, currently moving slow on it due to other projects and needing to do a proper design for the new chassis.

I'm wondering if that'd be a moot point with the trans and diff cooler setup?

With anything it is going to depend on how the car is driven. Street cars probably will not have an issue with it. Someone like Lou driving it...even with a Z51/Z06 cooling package it is going to get to hot. The race cars had coolers on them 2-3 x as large as that with direct feed air flow through them.
