Night Race Bue experience
I have been surprised by the reaction of people to my chosen color. If you own a NRB car I wonder if you have had the same experience.
The color gets very little reaction on cloudy days or at night. When the sun comes out all I hear, even from Corvette owners, is what color is that?
Last week at Mid America FunFest I must have been asked that question over fifty times. Yesterday while driving in Ocean City Md two Corvettes pulled up next to mine and asked what color it was. This only happens on bright sunny days but what a great color in the sun.

Similar experience. The car blends in with other cars and I havn't seen people react to my C7 as others with louder (reds and yellows) colors have. The exception was last Sunday, people pointed and actually stepped out into the street as we motored by and someone in a pickup circled the car taking pictures, car was parked with top down. Yes, I also have been asked what color is that (cloudy days/low light)?? Really "pops" in the sun, "yes". I like the color and would purchase it again.

While my C7 isn't NRB, my C6 was, and I 100% agree - its a stunning color in person and particularly in the sun. Nice thing about it is its a "sleeper" color, not many out there! I had so many reactions to not so much the car (corvettes always get attention, but the color)
Enjoy

I've had mine for a little over a week and the color changes still surprise me sometimes. Just yesterday at dusk this kid told me how much he liked it because black is the coolest color. An hour earlier would have been a completely different comment.

I've had Dark Bowling Green Metallic, Cyber Gray and now NRB. All kind of look like dirty black under some conditions but glow in the sunshine. The NRB surprises many people.

I arrived home Thursday following a 3800+ mile round trip to Pahrump NV. (Ron Fellows school but that's another story.) I was pleased to receive many complements on my NRB coupe with Crystal Red racing stripes and Adrenalin Red interior. Also, had several people ask permission to take pictures. A person's choice of color combination is very individual and not a case of "right" or "wrong". However, although all of the Stingray colors look great, I remain biased toward NRB.

We were just at the dealer looking at new C7's (bright sunny day) My wife said to me "what color is that one, it's stunning" It was a NRB convertible.

Good to hear these reports. I've got an NRB on the way.

I drive mine daily. I work at a factory with thousands of ppl, and hundreds I end up interacting with at some point. It's always the same question when they hear I have a Vette: "is it that cool black one in the south parking lot?"
Everyone once in a while, someone catches it in the sun (generally if they see me go to lunch or something), and then it's: "your car is awesome - what color is that?"
I got the color to match my Camaro, and b/c it is a sleeper color. No regrets.

Parked at one of my favorite restaurants the other day and watched a couple leave. They walked past the car and the lady noticed and stopped in her tracks and ran over to it and they both gawked at it for 5 minutes. Now that makes you feel good!

Nrb
I've had our NRB vert 2 months and of all the attention it gets and questions, the one we hear most often is " what color is that?" especially at dusk. When I went looking for a C7 every color was on the table but after seeing same blue on a Camaro and Cadillac and how it added understatement, I chose NRB, never looked back.. Also I want to give a quick thanks here to this forum for the information that helped me buy this car after lurking around here for a year or so.

About a year ago I helped a buddy of mine did a wax job on his C6 GS in NRB.
We did all the normal clay bar, polish, glaze steps; followed by a synthetic wax and let it cure. For the final wax, we used a deep black tinted carnauba we did three coats.
The result was truly stunning. The car looked deep black but if any light hit it, it glowed blue. driving it though the city at night was simply awesome; I plan on ordering my z06 in NRB for sure.
