My apologies if this has been asked and answered before. Having said that, I am getting close to replacing tires on my 2014 standard C7 with about 17,500 miles on it. Has any changed to any other make of tire. I have looked at the Bridgestone run flats vs the OEM Micehlins. Any feedback from folks who may have gone with anything other than the OEM tires would be appreciated.
The GS people and the C7 19/20 sizes seem to have less choices in a long wearing AS/ZP tire. I was about to get non runflat from Michelin for the GS to avoid the high price of their ZP that doesn't have high tread wear number. I put 15k on a set of AS/ZP and now a friend is working on the second 15K on those tires. I dont track my C7 and would like a tire that wears good. The standard tire with 300 tread wear number that I have now is great driving tire, but do not know how long its going to last yet!

I haven't had my C7 long enough to warrant replacing tires, but I had good luck with Hankook's Ventus v12 Evo's on my '06 Cayman S.
They didn't give me the ultimate grip levels of the OEM Michelin PS2's, but they were very good for (ahem) spirited street driving. Best "bang for the buck" in the space, in my opinion.

I agree, have had 2 sets. While not the stickiest of tires, you will get good traction and braking out of them. Got 30,000 miles on both sets. Discount tire sold and installed with their warrant for about $1150.00. Went with 265 x 35 x 18 fronts and 305 x 30 x 19 rears, car is a 09 Z51. Non run flats.

Thanks again.
The AS/ZP Michelin tires wear like iron and cost less than OEM.
