You posted on the 10th that the order is going in next Thursday the 8th? - huh?

Pretty sure he meant the 18th, since the 8th isn't even a Thursday.

I'm guessing this means we won't know for sure until Tuesday morning the 13th if an order got picked up for production?

Your dealer should know, even if the status hasn't officially changed yet.

Consensus cycles start on Thursday and are finalized by Tuesday. If your order was matched to an allocation on last weeks cycle, your dealer would know by Tuesday, even if the status didn't officially change until Tuesday night or Wednesday. Usually, the dealer knows by Saturday, because they are given till Saturday afternoon to match up any allocation they are given to existing orders, based on the constraints GM gives them. Another cycle starts tomorrow, and ends on the 20th.

Copy that. Thanks! The days of the week have changed since I used to do this a lot in the C5 era. They didn't have a concensus the last three weeks so I should know by this weekend or early next week at worst. Problem is going to be painted roof constraint.

Just got my allocation. MacMulkin called, and I"ll be going status 2000 Tuesday. 6-8 weeks from here on out! Excited!!!

I had the body painted roof FYI.

my deposit day was 12/22 I think

So with TPW of 2/9, I assume delivery will be like end of February?

Depends on where it is being shipped to. Some go by truck (fairly quick) and some go by train (not so quick).

Good for you! I ordered mine on 01/02/15 from Criswell and hope to hear from Mike soon to see if I made the cut. We also ordered the painted roof.

Hey Phil - I ordered mine from Mike also. My order/deposit date was 12/18/14. I got an email from him on Friday 1/16/15 that my order was moving forward and I had until next Tuesday to change anything on it. So, looking like a TPW of 2/9/15 for mine, and I'm doing the Museum Delivery. I placed my order today at NCM for the Photo Album. Tell me about your car. Mine is a Laguna Blue Z51 3LT Convertible with black top, Brownstone Competition seats, M7, Chrome Wheels, with a bunch of options.

BJ

We went with Shark gray, shark gray painted vents, black interior, ZF1, NPP, and 8 speed. This will be our first vette with automatic. Being a former track junkie I am hoping the paddles will be a good alternative.

I wish the brownstone was available with the 2LT as it is a classy color. It should look great with your car. We bought our last 2 vettes at Maxi Price in GA. Surprised they don't have the allocations as they had in previous years. Did you try them?

I haven't heard from Mike so I must have missed the current allocation. We hope to have our car by the end of March so we can attend the April
bash!

That sounds like a beautiful car Phil. Hope you can get it before the bash. I did check with Maxi Price. The just don't carry the inventory they used to and the day I stopped by the salesperson who was "next-up" didn't really seem to know much at all about Corvette ordering. He was more interested in moving one of the few on the lot "because it was the end of the month and they had a quota..." I said thanks and moved on.

We plan to go to the bash in April too. Hope we get a chance to meet.

BJ
