I spent the day working on the car. Installing stuff, and putting on a coat of Rejex. Very therapeutic. A great stress buster.

I agree! I spent several days doing this. Very satisfying indeed.

Working on or just detailing the car does relieve a lot of stress.

I love the car but applying and removing Rejex (or any wax or sealant) is a bit of a PITA with all the nooks and crannies. I took my time, so no big deal. More stress busted!

Question:
Do you recommend using Rejex after a good wash after your new C7 is delivered, or do you suggest a Glen method or some other prep and polish regime first?

I drove the car straight home from the dealer right after they had hand washed it. Fortunately they didn't apply any kind of wax or sealant, there were no swirls or haze in the paint, and the surface was squeaky clean, so I just hit it with some detailer spray to get any dust off and then a coat of Rejex. I'll do something similar to the Glen method in the Spring. Right now I just want to drive it.

you no longer have to struggle with Rejex, now they have Rejex polymers in a form that wipes on like Windex and you walk away, no buffing - Blackfire Crystal Seal and Ultima Paint Guard are two...and yes, just as good as Rejex, I used to use Rejex by the gallon....About 3 years ago I met the inventor of Rejex, did you know that NuFinish at the grocery store is essentailly the same stuff, repackaged for the consumer market?

Have to give it a try, does it last as long as Rejex?
