Wondered that the first time I sat in a C7, now that I have one, it’s absolutely not an issue.
What I was concerned about was visibility to the rear when driving and changing lanes. Learning proper mirror positioning has also made that a non issue. Using the mirrors I can change lanes with confidence although habit still prompts me to check by turning my head when traffic is light. Don
Visibility is not quite as good as my 2013 Camaro (which, once I adjusted to it, I felt had perfectly fine visibility). I just look over my shoulder a bit more.
I have cracked my front splitter, and will be adding curb alert today. Any long nosed car can have that risk.
As already stated, visibility is a non-issue. There are no blind spots when the mirrors are correctly positioned, and the backup camera is quite adequate for backing up.
this should be taught when people are first learning to drive.
