Are you talking about if you spin it one way it spins the other? Or if you spin it and it skips a few?
If that's what you are referring to then I can say I think my 15' is better than my 14, I haven't once had it act funny. Then again, I've only turned it maybe a dozen times.
Have they fixed the random operation of the mode select switch on the 2015s ?
If so can we go in for an update ?
Do the people that drive the mules not report these issues ?
Funny, I was just leaving the Chevy dealer on delivery and went to change the mode and it went crazy. Just touch it and it would go from Track to Economy and so forth. Did it for 30 seconds or less then acted normal ever since.
I have the car 6 weeks now and play with the mode control often and always acts the way it should.
The car performs better than I could have ever expected.
Mine has done it about 4 times in the last year, not interested in getting anywhere near a service dept for that kind of frequency of failure/confusion.

Yes, that is the problem I'm talking about. Very annoying and does not build confidence in the whole system.
From: Calgary, AB. There's a reason why white was the only color offered on every year Corvette. Proud Canadian German Jamaican!

I'm not letting those hacks touch my car's electronics for such a minor annoyance.
Mine acted this way until I learned to give it a solid twist and release. Twist it like you mean it. Let it go. Don't hold it rotated. Wait a couple of seconds. Mode changes. It has worked 100% since using this method.
I haven't had any problems with it in quite awhile, but I certainly have experienced all the issues others have described. Any user interface that generates this amount and type of discussion warrants rethinking.

I have tried it several different ways and did note that it triggers on the release of the switch. I find it really bizarre that at times it does not advance the display and at times it will advance in the wrong direction.
Can not believe this was not noted in testing the mules.
Knock-wood, but mine has never acted weird; it will go all the way to one end, and then, spin back to start over. Predictable. Not to say that there aren't those that have ghosts in the machine (I have an '05, and that gal has more ghosts than Disneyland Haunted Mansion).

Mine seems to do it only when its in sport mode and I slow down before the anticipated next shift. It will either go to weather or track mode and nothing in between. Once I stop the car & restart it is fine
While I am at it have any of you a problem with the sound managemnet setting (NPP) I have mine off and it will not turn back on I press the box on the screen & nothing

I had the same problem because I don’t use it often. Tried the same recently and realized you can’t hold and have it go more than one step. The one quick flick and return does get it to move one mode then wait a few seconds before doing the same to move to the next. Reminds me of key bounce with the first computer key boards! That was solved with software not paying attention to multiple rapid repeats. Just reinforces my speculation (sic) that they outsourced the software overseas to someone who never drove a car! Same person who designed the seat to return to a running position when you open the door and not knowing how the C6 and prior Vettes seat recall worked! Glad I just keep it in Sport! One advantage of the non mag shocks, mode has no effect on ride quality!

My Stingray is at the dealer now for just this reason. It is the second time I have had it at the dealer for this reason.
It doesn't happen every time but it does several times every day. Very annoying for a $66,000 car.

Exactly my experience. Turn the **** and release... Turn the **** and release... repeat as necessary. Works every time.

It does not happen often to mine but when it does no matter how you turn the **** it will only go to weather or track. Please let me know what they found as my dealer could not duplicate the problem.
