Just got my C7 last week.
This is my first car with remote key, So a little getting used to open door without pushing unlock button, didn't have to stick key into car & turn to start & removing key from car to leave.
Had first valet parking experience today.
Totally cool with driving up to restaurant with top down, 4 Valet guys running up fighting to first to valet Vette.
Returning, I saw C7 parked right up front. Gave my ticket, Valet guy asks if I still have the key. After a few seconds, I finally realized that I still have key in my pocket, laughed & said Oops, Sorry about that...
They all laughed too & said luckily it wasn't raining & they could park it, but couldn't retrieve it either, so they gladly parked it up front...
If they argue with you, give them a little extra. It isn't worth it. The only time I turn over my fob is Chevy dealer service.
BTW, OP, sorry for jacking your thread.
No problem.
I usually self park.
But it's an unusually beautiful nice day, so left the top down.
Sat in the restaurant outside patio area, so have complete view of my gorgeous new Vette...
