Sound Deadening Install

Sometimes I wonder. Many purchase NPP exhaust to create noise, others install sound deadening materials. Some do both?

Valid point, however I purchased NPP for other reasons. I would have done this with either system and I did it in my C5 as well. This install took care of a lot of road noise and low RPM rumble, especially on the highway. Road noise is never desirable... period. And the low RPM rumble I'm talking about comes generally at highway speeds in high gear and idle. I spend a lot of time at traffic lights and in heavy traffic. Sometimes I just want to listen to some damn music and not the rumble of my car. Now tour mode is more like "off" and sport/track mode is definitely still "on".
