Love the color combination. I saw a 3LT coupe black interior in the sun. Very nice, looks upscale. Yours is the best S.G. I have seen. Would you mind taking some pictures with the roof removed?
Although I have not seen that color in person, I like the color as I have seen it in pictures. I would consider buying that color if I was in the market for another C7.
Saw several shark grays in recent visit to the NCM and assembly plant. I like the way it looks. It is a happy medium between cyber gray and blade silver. Looked particularly good when paired with the machined face black wheels.
Yep, played with the configuration app on GM website, originally was going with AW and stock wheels,
Also like the Blade Silver, (white and silver cars are great to keep looking clean) but when I tried the Shark Gray and added the "Machined Faced" wheels, it all came together for me.
The stock calipers matched the body and wheels. The machined face wheels matched the SG body color. I added the gray interior, and the package looked subtle and classy at the same time.
The only other external appearance option I added was the carbon flash badging ($100) to bring all the external appointments together.

That combination suits my tastes perfectly.
I saw this exact combination on display at the NCM. It is beautiful and you will love it.
What is your option on Shark Gray? I feel that the color is too flat looking and needs some metallic.
what does it matter what you think of it? Just don't buy it; and still support any Corvette enthusiast - no matter what color they choose to buy with their own money.
It can look good in some lighting but pretty plain in other lighting, I was considering it until I saw it in person, I'm considering Silver now, it has a more consistent appearance.
Without a complementary color, yes it's boring. However, if you get the correct complementary color I believe you can make the car pop. All I've seen is some factory red as a highlight color, but I believe there are some other good (non-standard) color options if someone has the guts.
I own a shark gray and it definitely has its days between the sun and clouds. I was originally head over heels for the color but the more I'm around it the excitement is wearing off. For some reason, which I never thought I'd like a white or bright red corvette, those two colors with black wheels are the best looking to me. I just wanted a more subdued color. Maybe should have just got a flashy one.....oh well. Car is still great!
More often that not, the new Shark Gray looks better in person than in pics. It's a stunning color even more when contrasted with brighter complementary items for an enhanced effect (e.g. brighter wheels like the Pearl Nickel on the Z06 and brighter interior colors especially red as seen on FCCCVPMan's awesomely stunning C7).
Here's a Shark G vs. Cyber G comparison... both nice colors with different audience preferences. Cyber G was a very nice metallic color, albeit on the darker side... while Shark G has more of a pastel/brownish hue in certain light & angles so it can play tricks on you especially with low light where it can be on the dull side in pics but still attractive in person.

I like the Shark Grey better than the old, Cyber Grey because the Shark grey is a different grey that what one sees on Camrys, Hyundais, etc. Most other cars have a grey very similar to Cyber Grey, but not Shark Grey.

Ive never seen anything similar to cyber gray on Camrys or Hyundais
