Just this evening I saw it for the first time time in the showroom of a local dealer. NOT IMPRESSED! I was hoping for a "Pewter Gray". What I saw was....Heck, I don't what that was...
Like it or not, the name is very appropriate... It is a dead ringer for sharkskin. Saw it at a Harrisburg Chevy dealer last week. That said I like the color - but perhaps too subtle for the likes of a corvette.
Saw several shark grays in recent visit to the NCM and assembly plant. I like the way it looks. It is a happy medium between cyber gray and blade silver. Looked particularly good when paired with the machined face black wheels.

Yeah... Like white is better...
This Color like most Metalic Paints change with light.
Well, I have a Shark Gray 2015 Stingray (black wheels, mirrors, spoiler) and I love the color.
I don't love it quite enough to order it on the Z06, for which I am going back to Blade Silver, but it is a very classy color. My only criticism is that it dulls out considerably in low light. In sunlight it is a striking metallic, under clouds a little dull. I decided I wanted a bit more contrast with all the carbon flash bits. But it was a very close decision and I would have been happy with a second consecutive Shark Gray car.
I just saw my first one in person a few days ago at the Seattle Auto Show. Though I was prepared to love it, I didn't care for it. Way too much brown in it for my taste.
