Okay, I've been trying different options with the infotainment center in my C7. Still very new at this so bear with me.
I can connect to the C7 4G via wifi using my smart phone to the C7 bluetooth and then log into spotify (as an example). The music starts to stream but stops continually and restarts (playing through the car speakers). The wifi icon (on the smart phone) indicates connection (a moving arrow over he fan shaped arc), but it will stop and so will the music.
Conversely my wife was able to use her tablet to log on to the internet and surf web pages without an issue (actually very fast response times). So the connection seems to be fine, but music playback pretty much sucks through blue tooth.
Would connecting my phone using a USB eliminate the jerky/stopping music playback or is there something else I'm not doing.
I admit I am a bit overwhelmed with all the technology in the car. I'm trying to learn to do one thing at a time (and become comfortable) with it before moving on.
Obviously I want to understand and master those things I will be wanting to use daily.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
BTW. I did read that to use Pandora (on the C7 touch screen, you have to use the USB cable. Since Spotify is not an included app on the C7 control would be done on the phone so I thought Bluetooth would be the easiest way to go. In practice, Not so much

Your system should connect Pandora wirelessly. The iPhone will connect with the USB cable. Bluetooth and phone pairing and voice recognition is part of the Chevrolet Mylink system. Ask me how I know; My car currently has lost the Chevrolet Mylink system, all these features have disappeared, going to the dealer Monday. Even though the Mylink system is down, I can play Pandora via USB port.

I'm still too new to hit that point yet.
Yes connects wirelessly (wanting to use the WiFi in the car for my connection rather that cell minutes), but experience choppy play back. I will try a USB cable connection from my Android phone to the car USB and connect my phone to the internet using the C7 4G wifi. They start Spotify, Tunein, or whatever on my phone and see if it streams without stopping.
My wireless system was crisp and clear before Chevrolet Mylink failed. Voice recognition works well, not totally comfortable with all of commands, though. Next step (when my system is up) will be text messaging. There is so much capability!!!!!

Was sitting in the service department reading the manuals and it states that to stream music via cell phone to use bluetooth.
Wonder if they are referring to loaded tunes on the device (that should work just fine). They do not really address streaming other than to say for Pandora you will be using cell minutes. Duh!
I have to try various configurations to find one that will work. Wondering if using a AUX input (mini jack) to route the streaming audio to the C7 would help. But again, it seems like it's the internet connection that is causing the cutting out or stopped streaming audio,
The quest continues.
Would like to hear from anyone that listens to Spotify in their C7 and how it's set up and works.
