I made the same move just this past Thursday. C6GS coupe to C7 Z51 convertible. I had the same thoughts as you. I felt like I went from a classic American sports car to an exotic.

I also went from a C6 to the C7 and the C7 leaves the C6 in the dust. No comparison.

Hey brother, i went from C5 (04) to C6 (09) to C7 (15) and its all good.

Love all of those cars....all of them special...great memories in all of them. If i could go back in time i would go it all over again over and over again. Guess i would still get the C7 to0. A month ago i might have answered differently but what the heck.

Enjoy

Enjoy dude! Welcome to the club.

I disagree with the others. I still have my C6 with the C7. Both are equally fun and enjoyable in their own right. They're both Corvette but they both are different rides. Then again, my C6 is blown with upgraded suspension. I call them bruiser (blown C6) and cruiser (C7) for their roles in my garage.

I feel the C7 is a digital track carving machine. The C6 is an analog anvil on steroids.
