I had my OnStar module replaced and now its quiet
and my navigation works too

Mine had the same problem. After 3 visits it was repaired, a faulty OnStar module. I was told they share the same antenna. The repair worked and I received 6 additional months of OnStar which I didn't and never will activate.

I activated my On-Star about 1 week after bringing my car home from the museum. Did not give them a CC# and have had no issues. I have owned MANY GM vehicles since the introduction of On-Star and have never had an issue or problem. They are always very courteous when told that I have no interest in subscribing...unlike XM radio, those people are just HORRIBLE!!!
