Default Initial Impressions

1. I am impressed with the thoughtful design. There are a lot of small things that work well with the design elements

2. No big weaknesses - often a car will have a couple particular weaknesses but not the C7

3. Paint is good - like all of them mine has some orange peel but not more than other cars I have had - and it is even, which I consider important

4. A8 transmission is quite good - better than the AMG C63 I had

5. All of the controls feel good - brakes, steering, etc

6. Engine is responsive and impressive

7. Brakes have good feel

8. I wish the seat would go up another two inches - I am 5'9"

9. Interior stitching is straight and even ---- not easy to do

10. Standard mats are very cheap - easily rectified

11. Far superior to the C6 I had

12. It seems big but is actually not so, compared to other sports cars

Mats are definitely cheap.

The paddle shifters also seem to feel a bit "plasticey" and cheap. Had GM gone with a bit thicker material with smoother rounded edges, it would have a more substantial feel IMO.

Other than that, the car lacks nothing.

The "Top Stitch" in the car is beautiful.

Yes, your garage is awesome. Set up a cot and I'm there.

Agree with your comments and that IS a beautiful garage. I’m sure I’d spill oil on the floor doing changes. Sigh. DOn

As others have said, fantastic garage. But even more impressive is your C7. This is the exact configuration and color I will be ordering. What is your interior color and trim level? Mine will be 2LT Adrenaline Red, do we match again?

Do you have any more pics of this beauty?

Thanks and congrats!

Beautiful car & garage. Nice to see all white as that is what I am planning on ordering on my Z51 3LT. I am opting for the Brownstone interior.
Congrats !

Word of advice. For normal driving, abandon "Tour" mode and drive routinely in "Sport" mode. The difference in driving characteristics is ASTOUNDING! You won't regret it...

Nice color by the way...

And set the steering to "track" all the time.

Never was a fan of the color white til this C7 Arctic White.
Can I ask why the debadging?

I like the clean look of the debadging. I debadge all of my cars.

I agree with you the standard floor mats are a joke. I am sure Chevy will place the same old standard mats in the 100,000 Z06. Thank goodness for Lloyd mats.
