Go here, select your vehicle: http://gmnavdisc.navigation.com/home/en_US/GMNA/USD. It will tell you if a new version is available.

The update being discussed on this forum is the yearly map update, to bring the '14 Stingray nav to the same map being used by the '15 models. If you follow Zymurgy's steps above, you should get "No update available for your vehicle."
