I had a loaner for three days while they worked on my car last week. Unmarked loaner car they offered I didn't have to ask!

My dealership has a fleet of 100 cars to let you drive, only problem is that if you just happen to stop by with a problem you may not get one. Got to call ahead and reserve one for when your car is going to the shop. They are also very good about getting Corvette drivers a loaner.

Mine does the same thing and I didn't buy my Corvette from them.

Most dealers (that I've dealt with) either give loaners/ rentals (for extended repair projects (couple or more days) or offer a car service (drop off and pick up).

Often times there can be a dozen or more people having cars serviced. Dealer's would have to have a loaner fleet the size of Hertz to give everyone a car. So many dealers have a shuttle service to get people to work or other locations while service is being performed.

Our old Saturn dealer would arrange for an Enterprise rental for extended repair service on one of their cars.

Maybe GM/Chevy dealers takes the attitude that the availability of a loaner car does not figure into the buying decision for a Corvette the same way it might for a different brand.

Yep!! My dealer gave me a loaner when I took the C6 to him for a repair job and I had bought the car used from a dealer across town. Needless to say, I bought my new C7 from him because of his great service department.

I've got to say that Stingray Chevrolet (Plant City, FL) has been great to deal with... I did NOT buy my car from them. In fact my car is a Canadian car, down here while I'm on vacation. I needed to get the Audio system serviced under warranty and not only was there no issue about it being a Canadian car, but Stingray gave me a no charge loaner for several days while they resolved the warranty issue.

I don't know what GM's policy is on loaners but this dealer has been first rate... Offered me the loaner... No issues whatsoever.

Stingray Chevrolet, here in Florida, gave me a loaner, no questions asked, while they changed out my Infotainment screen. They are very accommodating compared to the dealerships near my home.

I also got a fully loaded Camaro as a loaner the last time I went in. Would have preferred a Malibu or Impala, but I forgot to say something.

Whenever I bring my Corvette in for any type of service I am always offered a loaner. (Van Bortel Chevrolet, Macedon NY).

I'd have to get my books out and read them. Because it's not me I'm too lazy but isn't there something about GM fronting a daily rental if the car is getting warranty work that takes a specific amount of time? My dealer has offered a loaner while I was getting a customer paid alignment.
