Default C7 question

I folks,
I just got a 2014 c7 convetible, and I notice it is missing whatever tool goes in the molded foam piece above the battery.

What is it?

That space is for the tow hook that is not provided for cars delivered in the U.S.

I agree, some store their emergency fuel filler extension there.

Even if you had the tow hook, there are no attachment points behind the fascia's on U.S. spec cars.
