I'm finding setting up a new address in the navigation system to be very cumbersome ... I suspect there is an easier way.
On my inexpensive tom-tom unit, I select the state, then the city, then the street and finally the street number. On each I get a list to chose from after the first few letters are punched in .... it is very quick.
On the other hand, on the Corvette navigation system, I have to type in the full address .. each number and letter and space .. and if I have a typo along the way, the search comes up empty and I have to start over.

If you still have an OnStar subscription, push the OnStar button, tell the person where you want to go and then ask them to download it to your nav system. I absolutely love this feature!
If you no longer that, use the voice feature to speak your instructions to the nav system.

What he said for the infotainment nav...the keyboard is big but its easier to talk to he lady in the dash...even if she is mentally challenged.
I agree that entering an address can be slow at times. I use the OnStar app to send an address to my in dash Nav. Searching for the address in the app is usually quicker than using Nav interface. That method also works great to send an address to the car before actually getting in the car. YMMV.
I have good results with the voice commands and never try the keyboard. Try it in your driveway until you get the routine down. Program one, cancel it out and program another. Vary by POI like library, Chevrolet Dealer, etc., then do an address. Say the entire address like "1-2-1 Main Street, Bozo, New York". It took me only a couple of days to get good with it. I'm an old TOM TOM user and like this much better. Use it every time out even if you know exactly where you are going to get proficient. If I know the general starting route, I will drive and talk as I go until it is programmed. Be sure to wait for the beep before you talk when questioned by the Lady in the Dash.
All great suggestions ... I do have onstar .. and this feature was in the original "free" period.. not sure if I still have it now that I'm paying for it.
I use the iPhone with Siri... so talking to the lady in the dash so I will practice that ..
Car is in storage ( our garage) .. .so probably will wait or spring .

Guess the lady in the dash has a split personality. She prefers I say numbers as one hundred twenty one, not 1-2-1
