Alignment vibrations?

I still don't have the paperwork back for the warranty repair (took two techs to do the work and they hadn't figured out how to write it up). I am assuming that since they dropped the entire rear drive line they would have had to align the wheels of the car again, not sure they did yet since I've got no paperwork. Now I am getting a real tight vibration, particularly early in acceleration, also roars a little. I am wondering if it might be tire scuff caused by an out of align condition. I know about wheel hop when you're turning a corner, and this is similar but a higher frequency, and it's not necessarily when I'm turning.
Lots of good knowledge on this forum, any thoughts?

The rear sub-assembly includes everything that determines the alignment, so that shouldn't have been affected.
I'd be inclined to think they didn't get one (or more) of the brackets that hold the exhaust system reinstalled correctly.
