Default Programming DIC

Just took delivery of our 2015 Z51 M7. We are working our way through the electronic options and have run into a snag.

We are trying to program the DIC, the display in the center of the tach. We've looked at the guides on this site and the owner's manual. What happens is we press the left arrow on the right of the steering wheel. That brings up a menu that shows "info," "performance," "audio," etc. We use the up arrow to highlight "info." From that point the instructions say to push the left arrow - or possibly the right arrow - to bring up another menu that allows us to choose between "MPH," "trip A," etc. We can't get to that menu. Pushing the left arrow, the right arrow, or the SEL button makes the original menu disappear and leaves the "MPH" in the display. Pushing the up or down arrow just moves the highlight in the menu from "info" to "performance" or "audio," etc.

How do I get to that sub-menu?

I think you have to hit the SEL button first. Not sure, not in my vette to verify.

Push left button to bring up screen selections. Up or down to your choice, then press the center SEL button to put center instrument panel in that mode. Then up or down on perf or info to get to various info

The options you want are in the "info" menu.

Before hitting the left arrow button, simply hit up or down to see what choices you have. If you are cycling through DIC options like, oil pressue, ELSD status, trans temp, etc. you are in the performance menu. Then yu have to hit the left arrows, move the "highlight" up to the info menu and then hit the center "select" button. Then you will cycle up and down through the info DIC option that you want (like Trip A, Trip B, MPG, speed limts, etc.)

So to summarize, do not hit the left arrow unless you want to change to a different menu option.

PS.
This tid bit below is based on the sport display setup (my favorite display), but I am sure the touring and track have a similar detail. I just have not used those other setups recently to tell yo if they absolutely have this tid bit.
Once you get familiar with the menus, take note of the white "chicklets" to the left and right side of the DIC sub-display (sort of in the round). As you cycle through the different DIC display options, you can note their positions, then you have an idea if you need to move up or down the menu to get to the display you want instead of remembering the order (i.e. total hours is display 1, speed limit is display 2, etc). I believe the Trip A/B are at the top of that group and so the "chicklet" are in the top of the arc.

Thank you for the responses. I didn't realize that when I highlighted "info" and hit "sel," what came up was the sub-menu. Everything works fine.

Oh, and in the couple of hours since I posted I lowered the car 1/2" in the front, and 5/8" in the rear! Looks terrific and it's only the beginning of my list of stuff I want to do.
