Base vs Z51

One thing I'd like to say about the base. It has the cleanest lines and a very beautiful appearance, like a Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster.
Love the way it looks from behind with the smaller spoiler Love the way it looks without the splitter, side skirts, front fender inserts, and rear fender intake grill hoods.
It seems as you upgrade the performance on the C7, you have to add aero and cooling parts to the body.

My Corvette is a Z51. I bought it because I loved the color, interior, and the trim. I've never owned another Corvette, and I've never driven the "base" model.
That being said, the Z51 is far superior to the base model in every way. Furthermore, those who buy the base model have hamsters for mothers, and their fathers eat elderberries.

Good. The 'base' model is a fabulous car. I cannot imagine that you would be disappointed if you purchased it over the Z configuration. Personally, I know I'll never drive my car to it's limits-heck, I'd never drive the 'base' model to it's limits.
Pick one you like, buy it, and love it! You won't be disappointed!
