My wife loves big muscle cars. I had a Dodge Challenger before this that she loved. She currently has a 2013 SS Camaro. I told her that my Corvette was bigger then her car before I actually got it. She got the last word when we found out her car is longer, taller and wider then mine so I had to eat my words. Yesterday in a parking like some older woman told me, wow that is really one beautiful tiny car. If you've seen my post before I never cared for Corvettes before this, I always though they were long boats driven on roads. Is this Corvette smaller then other generations? Or was my thoughts of long plastic boat just a biased opinion? Oh.. to the die hard Corvette fans, we're all friends here right? :-)

I do agree the C7 looks smaller then previous generations and has been the only one on my radar, and now in my garage.

Yep, her car is bigger in every dimension. And when it comes to cars, bigger is certainly NOT better. At least when it comes to sports cars. Bigger usually means slower, worse handling, worse mileage. The Mopar's weight is appalling. Yet it is a cool car. Just not a sports car.
If your wife bought your claim that the Corvette is bigger than the Camaro, she's not very observant, so just drive whatever you like.
I wouldn't worry about what some old lady in a parking lot says, either, unless it's "Lordy, Honey, I just backed over your tiny car because I didn't see it from up in my land yacht!"
The C7 FEELS like a land yacht compared to a Nissan 370Z, even though it's only nine inches longer. In the Z, you see a tiny bit of hood beyond the base of the windshield. In the C7, you see the about three acres of rolling hills and prairie.
My C-7 is huge compared to my 2004 Honda S-2000. Length 162.2 inches to 176.9 on C7 (over a foot longer!) and width is 59.5 inches compared to 73.9 on C-7 (over a foot in width!). Love them both but what a difference when I get into one after driving the other.
The C7 is huge next to our mini JCW! We love them both. Toys! Regarding the earlier post about the parking lot, stay away from Kroger on senior days. Hard lesson learned a couple of years ago!
My C7 with my boyfriend's ZL1 for size comparison. It is quite a bit larger in the garage than when he still had a C6 but I wouldn't really call the Corvette a "small car."

I love the school banners! Do you two have arguments when ASU plays U of A?
