When I ordered my 2015, I placed the order with the dealership in May 2014 but the official date for placing 2015 orders was either June 28 or 29. The order sat in limbo until this date. Keep in mind the dealer can't place a 2016 order until they have the 2016 order sheet/codes(I think this is what they're called, not a GM guy) which they will receive in May, I think.

Two year old article about what became the Z06.
It'd be cool if someone kept track of predictions by these car magazines--which ones came true and which ones didn't. I have a feeling that a lot of what they report will happen doesn't, but who knows for sure?
