Default PDi?

I know I want the transport cover, build sheet, and window sticker. Can anyone think of anything else that I might want, that may typically get thrown away? Thanks!

In addition to the build sheet and window sticker, I went way overboard and kept every piece of paper that came with my Vette. I also kept copies of all the GM Workbench reports that were produced at each stage of the build order (1100, 2000, etc.). I know it's probably dumb, but they don't take up much space and eat nothing. My thinking is, someday, I will sell my C-7 to someone who is as **** as me.

Workbench reports might be nice, but those don't "come with the car" do they?

Default No to the transport cover

I would say no to the transport cover as it's got dust,dirt and little rocks in it so if put it back good chance to damage your car, also when you take it off you have to fold back the tape that holds it on the front window and the hood is a separate piece. Do your self a big favour and buy a good car cover.

Nothing wrong with that - I've done the same thing.

My salesman saved the documents for me at my request and presented them to me the day I took delivery. So, as far as I'm concerned, they came with the car.

[QUOTE=Sneakytoot;

The transportation company that moved my car from Columbus to San Diego said the same thing when I asked about the transportation cover.

Once it had been removed they would not put it back on! They said that it would rub on the paint of the car and cause damage and that they would not move it with the cover on unless I signed a waiver for them.

I have to admit that it made sense to me so I moved it without it, in an enclosed trailer, and everything was fine.

Guess IF I keep it, I probably shouldn't use it then. May just forget this one.

Okay, so I decided to forget about the transport cover, dealer said the build sheet wasn't included with the car? Anyone confirm or advise where it might be? They WILL NOT do the PDI until I'm there, so if I know where to look......

Dealer is wrong (wow, go figure). Everything will be in a large plastic bag in the back of the car. I know since I essentially did my own PDI and towed my car home on a trailer with the factory cover intact and not removed by the dealer.

Well I do have to give him credit, he knew quite a bit more than I would have expected, but with so many people saying they got theirs, I figured it would be there some where. Thanks!

There should be two build sheets. If you are getting a Z51 there will also be directions on how to install the air deflectors on the lower control arms. Directions for installing the air dam will be there. You've paid for everything - if you desire it you should get it. Tell the dealer you want the small round QC sticker that says "OK to ship" that should be on a window on the car and that you won't accept the car unless you receive that!!!

You'll love the 2LT red interior - I have that also. Just enough red to provide color without overwhelming the interior (yes, that's an opinion). Looks awesome with white - congrats!

Yeah. One reason I didn't really want 3LT.......didn't really want the red on the dash.
