Default HUD Setting

Is it possible to set the HUD setting you want and link it to the "memory" seat option? I like the setting that has the trans gear and the tach graph but it always go back to the plain MPH when the car is turned off. Cannot find anything in the manual for this.

hud settings are linked to driving mode.
You can change the hud display for any given driving mode.
IIRC, the option screen says "link to driving mode" with a list of the other display modes. Selecting one of the other modes changes the hud display for the currently active driving mode display..

seat/mirror positions are linked to which fob opens the door.

default (on startup) driving mode is T, irrespective of whch fob opens the door.

AFAIK, you cannot change the default driving mode - you have to manually change.

Since I only use one fob, IDK if user configured hud display/ driving mode pairs are also linked to the specific fob that opens the door.

Except for sport. If you shut the car off in sport, it is in sport when you fire it up again. Not sure about track...I'll have to try it and see.

My 15 reverts to tour if I shut it off in track.

Same thing with mine. Shutting off in sport, stays in sport. When you shut off in track mode, the car reverts to tour mode when restarted.

That is by design.
