I have no way of knowing. I am the second owner of the vehicle. I bought it with 2860 miles. It now has 35xx.
I do not think the windshield as been replaced, as I found a couple of rock chips, very small, not cracks, just small divots.
I'm trying to imagine how the previous owner could have caused this, and I can't. The rest of the car was meticulously kept.
If the part is indeed <$50 and I can replace it myself, I will.
I just can't seem to find anyone who knows how to remove that part, so I can double check the part number.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
