Default Start the clock

Well, I pulled the trigger this evening. Put my deposit down on a factory order 2LT Z51 Coupe with carbon flash accents all around, (stinger, mirrors, spoiler and badging). Now starts the difficult task of waiting. Any advice for me up here on cloud 9. Can't wait

You forgot to mention which color you chose (the 2nd hardest part next to waiting). Congrats on your order. I currently have a TPW of 3-2-15 and hope to take delivery mid-late March.

It's shark grey. It is an homage to my mother who just passed from battling lung cancer. We used to call her BTRS or Black Tipped Reef Shark for her tenacity and never give up attitude. If you look at the car as configured with the clear top, I know she would "wink". Before she died, she told me to get that car your always talking about and take me for a ride in spirit. I plan on doing just that.

Get the updates from Chevy Customer Care, make a chart to track your progress and enjoy the experience. I actually made it a fun experience. Took 7 weeks order to delivery.

Congrats!! Beautiful build you have selected, and a neat connection to your late Mom. Enjoy the wait; that's a big part of the fun. I have a TPW of 2/16 and each day gets more exciting as I wait to see it for the first time on Corvette Boulevard at the Museum. You will enjoy ticking off the Event Code changes as your order marches towards completion.

A great tribute to your mother.

I'm in the 2/16 group, also. Enjoy the wait, read the forum, get info. Do like the 2/16 group did and hook up. When you get to 3000 you'll get a TPW, post it and get a thread going. Nice way to meet up with some members and have fun tracking your build. Helps to pass the LONG days of waiting.
Nice way to honor your mother, and congratulations on the new car.
