I am looking to get a set of these - not cheap, but they would work great I think being flat and all.

I actually got some years ago that are actually 3-Ton, and I got them at of all places Wal-Mart, and they are NOT the cheepy stamped steel pieces of crap that you would expect Wal-Mart to have. These things are extremely heavy duty. I personally would suggest that you search out a set or sets that are at least 3-ton, and like the ones posted above, where the stand sits on the floor/ground has a pad where it touches an not just a sharp end of a piece steel. This not only distributes the weight, it also keeps your floor from getting chipped up, ESPECIALLY if you have a sealed or painted floor in your garage.

I have these as well. I have not put the C7 on them yet. You can get some nice height.

That's what I've got-love them. Had my 67 on these for 2 months while doing a standard to power disk brakes conversion which required replacing all the metal brake lines.
