Now, it is a thing of the past. But there are several USB ports and other plug in ports to plug in your music accessories.
Correct. Aux input as well as USB, SD slot and Bluetooth so there are plenty of options to get your music in. Of course, this is still a pain if all your music is already on CD.
Once you've ripped 500 CDs to an SD card or USB drive, you'll be thankful for the omission. It's incredibly nice to have ALL my music available at the touch of a button ..

Ok, I'm no tech person, but isn't Bluetooth for your phone? how do I get music on USB?, play it through computer and download? Is that legal? Sorry guys, I'm over 60 so I'm not really up on this stuff, but I
gotta learn as new car will be here in a couple of weeks.

You can always play your downloaded CDs thru your I-pod
or use Pandora.

Denyce, Question #1. YES Bluetooth is for your phone. some/most smartphones have a place to upload music onto them. if you have music on your phone, and its paired with your car, you can select MEDIA and play the music that is stored on your phone.
Question #2 Seeing as how you started your question asking about a CD player.....can we assume you have a lot of music on CD? I bet so.....are you familure or know how to "RIP" music off of a CD? if not, you need to do some google searches and read up on it, I attached a link below that has instructions. As that is how you get the music off your CD's and onto a Flash Drive (USB) to play in your car. just remember to use the MP3 file format, it will make it easier on you.
Question #3 Is this legal? YES, you can copy music that you have purchased and transfer it from one media (CD) to another (USB/FLASH DRIVE) for your own personal use.

As mentioned, any music you have on a CD is yours, and you are free and legal to rip MP3 files from it.
The car has 2 USB ports and one music SD card slot in the console, and 1 USB port in the hidden compartment behind the infotainment screen. The SD card can be as big as 32 GB and on that size card, I have over 5000 songs in MP3 format. The USB ports can handle even bigger USB flash drives, so you can have even more music. According to the infotainment manual, the system can handle music on two of the four device ports, with up to 100,000 songs.
Since picking up mine yesterday, this post is the first time I thought about a CD player. It's very easy to play anything you have on your phone, including every music app you have. Pandora is built into the system too.
BTW, I bought the 1LT package and the sound system is beyond adequate and I love my music loud.
My recommendation, for what it's worth. Pretty soon the joke will be "MP3s? Do people still rip CDs?" If you have a smartphone, take advantage of it and sign up for one of the following services. I subscribe to spotify and amazon prime.
Spotify - $10/mo and more music than you could ever listen to. Stream or download
- $99/yr, tons of songs, stream or download. Plus free 2 day shipping on amazon purchases and a handful of other goodies. Google Play Music All Access - $10/mo millions and millions of songs.
