Default Finally !

After putting in an order the first week of Jan. for a Laguna Blue Z51 3LT coupe and having no luck getting past 1100 we finally went looking for something in stock around here in the Detroit area. We really wanted a coupe but at one of the dealers we were looking at the salesman drove around a DSOM Z51 3LT Convertible w. a black top . When we saw it drive up me and my wife looked at each other and said WOW! I think we found our car. That DSOM in the direct sun was amazing. We never thought that we would buy a convertible because of lack of trunk space but we will be picking it up this Tuesday. Lol Very excited!

Congratulations,

Our last car was a convertible and it was fun, especially for cruises. This time we are buying a coupe but only because most of our driving involves road trips.

Have fun and be careful, especially at first!

Congrats on your new Stingray. I know the color well, it's spectacular in bright sunlight. A friend has one and spent time over the Winter months getting the paint perfect with a clay bar and some top notch car care products.
Many happy motoring miles to you and your wife.

The very reason I went from vert to hardtop...the canvas tops are just too maintenance intensive. If they ever offer a hardtop vert I will probably go back

Same for us. Never owned or even considered a convertible, then this happened... I can count on one hand the number of times we drove last summer with the top "up" (a couple of times when the temp exceeded 95, wife wanted AC). Temp hits 70 or above, the top is down. Hopefully you will fall into that same way of thinking. Enjoy that new ride!!!!
