Default Launch Control with ThatCuteGinger

Since we had a beautiful day yesterday here in Colorado, I decided to let my daughter demonstrate launch control. I think she did pretty good, and that NPP sounds pretty good! Enjoy all!

Ginger has a real future at this. GM should hire her.

I haven't used launch mode yet. How is it different with a Z51?

And with a manual, do you keep your heel on the brake pedal and the tip of your right foot on the gas pedal?

With a manual you hold in the clutch, point the wheels forward, floor the accelerator and when the RPM settles, you dump the clutch. Make sure you are in Track-competitive mode.

JDM, as someone else said, all you have to do on the manual is clutch and accelerator; no brake needed. Feels weird the first time.

As far as differences on the Z51, the Z51 has PTM settings (With mag ride only) and that's really the only difference. Should have said that. It's more about the mag ride than the Z51.

Ginger says thanks for all the comments! She's having fun, and if you have any good video ideas please let me know!

Bounty and Ginger,

Thanks for this. I have been reading about launch control for a while and never really understood it.

This clip was perfect.

Thanks!
