Trying to get everyones opinion on tints on a Arctic White Stingray.
I am planning on getting the Llumar CTX tints very soon, with 30% on the driver, passenger, and rear windows. The two tiny windows I was thinking 5%, or will that not look too good with 30s on the sides, should I go with 20% then on the smaller windows?
Also, should I get the front window tinted very light to help block the heat.
I live in MD and the legal limit for tints is 35%.
Main reason why I am asking this is because I have a white car, the black will stick out more and I dont want to get pulled over for this.
JMO, but I think two different tints on the same side of the car wouldn't look good. The state I live in only allows 50% tint on windows. My eyes are extremely sensitive to light so I got a medical exemption from my optometrist. Your eyes might be extremely sensitive to light also. Symptoms are that sunlight seems almost unbearably bright and uncomfortable, even coming around your sunglasses from the sides. This won't stop you from being pulled over, but it will stop you from being ticketed.
I have that Lumar ceramic film, 30% all around on my AW. It looks very good, but does appear quite dark (luckily it's legal here in TX). I personally think unmatching tint looks ghetto so I always do the same film all-around.

Nice, so if I can get my doctor to sign off on this saying I have sensitive eyes to light. I can get like 20% tints and I will be fine?
Several states that have a medical exemption have passed laws to eliminate them so I would make certain the state you live in still allows this. I think the tint ban is crazy and is just a revenue generator.

Nice, you did 30% on the front as well? Also, whats your take during night times?

I have 30% all around except the windshield. Illegal in VA but I have a waiver on my registration do to some skin cancer I had removed a couple years ago. I keep waiting to be pulled over so I can flash that.
Rob Freeman at Proforma in Ellicott City had someone come in and do mine while it was there for Xpel. I can find a single fault in the tint job or the Xpel. Call him and see who did mine.
I had the FormulaOne Pinnacle tint installed with 30% on the sides and 15% on the back. When you compare them side-by-side, you really can't tell the difference. I was worried that you would, but the installing shop showed me with two pieces before I agreed to it.
I have 20% on the brow, quarters, and rear, 35% on the sides. You can't really tell there's a difference unless you're looking straight through side to side.

Highly recommend!
30% Lumar ceramic.
How much did you pay?
Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Is the Llumar CTX Ceramic or is there a ceramic edition?
How does the CTX Compare to the Formula 1 line? (Classic, Comfort, Pinnacle)?
I got quoted 259 for the CTX and 350ish for the Pinnacle, 240 for Comfort.
Fwiw, I installed geoshield dark matter on my truck, and after using every tint available over the years, I'll never use another brand. Waiting to get it on the c6. Texas heat doesn't fade me in mid July.

Looks very nice! You must live just to the north of me...and it appears we use the same dealer based on your license plate frame
Decided to get the formula one pinnacle. The rep said these are polarized tints, but I am not reading that anywhere. So are they polarized or not. What about the stock windows, I am not sure if they are polarized. I have read that people are getting prism effects, does anyone know why this happens?
So I got my tints (Llumar Formula One Pinocle) today. Does anyone have an issue where the tint doest cover a strip of the corevette logos on the rear window? Guy that put my tints on said it was common for all the stingrays...
Sorry for the blurry pic, but you can see the area where there are bubbles down a straight line.
