My wife went and the instructors let her ride with them on every lap. She had a blast.

Wish my wife would like something like that, she'd be screaming at the guy to slow down, there's a turn ahead, the car ahead is slowing down blah blah blah. 1 lap he'd be letting her out ASAP. She has no idea what the car is capable of and never will if it's up to her.

Have you seen all the amenities at the resort, I would think there would be plenty to do even if you weren't taking the course.

I went by myself and while the facilities are nice there is really nothing to do. If she had a friend along they can go on day trips but I would not recommend bringing the wife.

I guess you will need to leave it up to your wife. My wife had a great time. She attended all of the classes and rode every lap with an instructor at no charge. We went to dinner in the evenings and then on to Vegas after the class was over.

I'm inclined to take this advice, I just don't see her enjoying it and a miserable wife means a miserable me.

My wife went as well and had a relaxing time in the great weather there this week. She was either on the balcony of the condo watching the cars go by on the track or over at the clubhouse on the patio or the roof. Welcome relief from the cold back home. Met a few of the other wives there, had breakfast and lunch there with me and a few folks we met. Wasn't interested in the ride-alongs.

The facility is first class. My wife was glad she went.

Sounds like I am very fortunate. Not only does my wife want to go with me but she is also taking the two day class with me. She did hot laps with Rick, chief instructor from Spring Mountain at the new NCM track last august and loved it. Other than having to pay full price for her class, it should be a lot of fun and I won't be as nervous when she takes the Vette for a ride.
