Got my RPI splash guards yesterday. I had seen the installation posts on the forum , so I pretty much knew how to get the old ones off and the new ones on.
What I wasn't expecting was the worms eye view you get while laying on your back looking up. You see things you don't normally see. On the under side of the body where it tucks under. Scuff marks, some little things stuck on the body. Things that need to be cleaned.
Then the inside of the wheels. omg.
Any way 3 hours later splash guards are in and everything is spic & span.
I'm really glad I opted for the body colored units. They really look good. om a side note I noticed that the GM splash guards that I removed were made in the USA.

I'm glad my nuts are body colored also.
Let us know how these work compared to the GM splash guards. I just installed the GM splash guards yesterday.
The ones originally installed on my Corvette from the factory were made in the USA. The new splash guards in the GM boxes had molded into the back side: "Made in China."
I installed my custom painted splash guards today, too. Mine are arctic white and frankly I'm disappointed in the quality of the paint job. I got them from Corvette Mods but I don't know if they painted them or who did but not good.
The masking job was very slip shod and there were speckles of paint on the wheel well side and uneven lines where it should have been a clean line. Even worse is that the color of white doesn't match my car; it is a much bluer white.
Lol...Sounds like my typical "this will take 15 minutes" that turns into a 3 hour project scenario.
