Going from memory:
There's two things, favorites and saved destinations. When you go to the nav screen and go to enter a destination there's a selection at the bottom which has the list of saved destinations.
Favorites is that pull-up-from-bottom list that can contain XM stations, radio stations, phone numbers, AND navigation destinations. I've only put XM stations and radio stations, but I definitely remember when I read the manual that you could store things like navigation destinations there.
I'd have to play with it to be more specific.
