Who is responsible for the Toledo MADNESS??
I would sure like to know who is responsible for the Toledo JOKE!! Have a friend who ordered weeks after we did from the same dealer. His car was built complete 2 weeks LATER THAN OURS AND GOT TO TOLEDO 2 WEEKS LATER THAN OURS DID.
Want to guess what's next?.......
His is on a RAILCAR on its way to the same dealer and ...........
WE ARE STILL STUCK IN TOLEDO!!!
I would really like to say a few choice words to who ever is responsible.

You need to talk to the railroads:
Those impacted by rail shipping might find the following Automotive News article an interesting read: Are railroads snubbing autos?
Some quotes:
Other high dollar vehicles ship by rail:
The M Class starts at $48,000 and can easily top $110,000.
Some quotes:
About 70 percent of new vehicles are moved by rail, according to the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, a trade group representing 12 automakers.
But railroads have been unable -- or unwilling -- to keep up with increases in automotive production since the 2008-09 recession.
Meanwhile, increased demands from shippers of commodities such as grain, coal and oil have competed for limited rail capacity. Rail shipments of crude oil, for example, rose to 415,000 carloads in 2013 from 9,500 in 2008, according to annual reports compiled by the Surface Transportation Board.

The people doing the work of managing and loading the rail cars have no incentive to worry about your needs.... Customers are an evil to be ignored if at all possible...

They have a "TIP JAR" at their front gate. PAY or move to the end of the line... LOL
My son's Vette sat in BG waiting for a transport to Iowa for 22 days.
My Vette arrived at Stingray Chevy (on a full load for them) 3 days after build. Sitting in my driveway 5 days after build.
Distances were equal. Volume... not so much.

I understand the railroads are very busy hauling and are backed up. But what doesn't make any sense at all, is why was mine loaded on the railcar before Gene's when mine arrived in Toledo two weeks after his? Also, this same dealer is expecting over 10 other cars that are sitting in Toledo - yet mine was the only one put on the railcar. Don't get me wrong, I feel very blessed that mine made it on the train. But this whole ship by rail philosophy really needs to be addressed as it just isn't right that cars are sitting in Toledo for over a month. Charge another $100 for the car and ship everything by truck.
