The focus on my camera is much worse than the GM sample.
My image was taken while moving but the soft focus does not seem to be from vibration. If vibration was the cause, the image would most likely be smeared in the direction of the movement.
Might anyone know if the focus lens is fixed or adjustable?
The camera probably is just wide angle with a fixed focus. The "fix" adds contrast which helps but does absolutely nothing for improving the "sharpness" of video image.

So he misspoke about the sharpness. Look at the detail (small branches, window panes). Believe your lying eyes. There's no difference. That's "sharpness".
