Cool idea...and can definitely be done. The car isn't moving from that spot until next Wednesday.

I haven't tucked any of my hoses. I think you are referring the Z51 hose setup and mine is a base Stingray.

Absolutely nothing wrong with factory GM.

Why not order a clear hood from the GM performance parts catalog so you can show off the engine detail all the time ?

Never had a problem taking hoods off, but, getting them back on to line up properly, now that is another story. Your car looks good though.

There was a time I wasn't wild about Yellow, but something about a C7 in Yellow just really PoPs in a great way. What an incredibly beautiful car and engine.

Steve Ray does great work - he did my Stingray and Z06. I stopped in his shop to introduce myself last year.

[QUOTE=jagamajajaran;1589427466]But getting these shots wasn't the primary reason we removed the hood. If you're wondering what in the world I'm doing now, all I will say at this time is that Steve Ray helped me with the hood removal today. It was actually the first time either of us had removed a C7 hood. (Very easy to do...remove the four black bolts that hold the hood to the hinges and lift the hood off the hinges.)
