GM will build you another car the same way. Even when Z-51 is on constraint the zone sales reps can get cars built with no constraints.

Melting Slicks
My car sat in BG for an unusual amount of time and my dad heard from another source that there were cars allegedly stuck in or behind piles of snow causing delays. My car built on 3/11 arrived fine on 4/3. This is the first I've heard of any flood damaged cars. I'd think we would've heard about more flood isues. Kinda strange...

Not the case here. Know of another car on truck going to another nearby dealer that was lost. My dealer is a local, mid-sized operation, family owned. They showed me the Chevy email saying they had credited (meaning they were awarding) the dealer with another slot to order a Vette. Dealer was confused when he read the email as it had no explanation as to why the extra credit was being given to them by Chevy. Subsequent phone calls revealed the flooding situation. The same karst (sinkhole) terrain that collapsed part of the Vette Museum often floods during the heavy rains we've been receiving, like 12 inches in a four-day period.

Dealers always in constant bickering with factory, and what a VP says on the phone may not be what can happen at the factory. I should know by April 24 if the Z51 package is available.
