I am away from my car and owners manual and just thought of something I wanted to check. My 2015 has a motion button next to the hatch button. I never had a chance to check this out but last night a guy at a cruise night put a flyer through my open window and the alarm went off. Is this what the motion switch if for?
It is recommended that the intrusion and inclination sensors be deactivated if pets are left in the vehicle or the vehicle is being transported.
With the vehicle turned off, press the Motion button on the right side of the hatch release button. The indicator light will come on momentarily, indicating that these sensors have been disabled for the next alarm system arming cycle.

Elmer
Elmer- will it stay in the mode it is set to after ignition cycles or every time you shut your auto off do you have to reset it? I like the idea of having it on all the time in case someone reaches into the car for a quick grab. Thanks
